جملات شرطی نوع سوم:

گذشته غیر ممکن

Hypothetical situation: شرایط غیر واقعی

این دسته از جملات شرطی برای بیان گذشته ای غیر ممکن استفاده می شود.در واقع گوینده آرزوی گذشته ای متفاوت دارد که غیر ممکن است.

به عنوان مثال در فارسی می گوئیم :

اگه به حرف مادرم گوش داده بودم ،یاد گرفته بودم که پیانوبزنم.

(اگر دقت کنید هر 2 آرزوئی در گذشته است ،هم گوش کردن به حرف مادر و هم پیانو زدن)

ولی در زبان

 انگلیسی که مدنظر ما است به شرح زیر عمل می کنیم:

If + subject + had + P.P + comma (,) + subject + would + have + P.P

مثال:

If I had listened to my mom, I would have learned how to play the piano.

اگه به حرف مادرم گوش داده بودم ،یاد گرفته بودم که پیانوبزنم.

If he had driven more carefully, he would not have been injured.

اگربا دقت بیشتری رانندگی کرده بود ،مجروح نمی شد.

If I had known you were in hospital, I would have gone to visit you.

اگر می دونستم شما در بیمارستان بستری بودید می آمدم و شما را ملاقات می کردم.

نکته مهم:

درگرامر زبان انگلیسی نوعی دیگر از جملات شرطی وجود دارد که بخش شرطی آن فرم شرطی نوع سوم را دارد ولی جواب شرط از فرم دوم تبعیت می کند که در گرامر به آن

Mixed conditional sentence

می گوئیم و ساختار آن به صورت زیر می باشد:

If + subject + had + P.P + comma (,) + subject + would + main verb.

که این ساختار معنایی کاملا متفاوت دارد:

مثال:

If I had not wasted so much money 2 years ago, I would buy an apartment now.

اگر2 سال پیش پولم و حیف نمی کردم، الان یک آپارتمان می خریدم.

(اگر دقت کنید قسمت شرطی آن از ساختار شرطی نوع سوم تبعیت می کند و قسمت دوم آن ساختار شرطی نوع دوم می باشد.)

در صورتی که اگر از ساختار شرطی نوع 3 استفاده کنیم معنی آن کاملا متفاوت می باشد.

یعنی اگر بگوئیم:

If I had not wasted so much money 2 years ago, I would have bought an apartment last year.

معنی آن به این صورت خواهد بود:

اگر 2 سال پیش پولم و حیف نکرده بودم ،پارسال آپارتمان خریده بودم.

(اگر دقت کنید هر 2 آرزو مر بوط به گذشته می باشد که همان ساختار شرطی نوع سوم است).

مثال های بیشتر:

If I had studied more carefully, I would have been 1^st student in the class.

اگر با دقت بیشتری درس خونده بودم ،شااگرد اول کلاس بودم .( هر 2 آرزو مربوط به گذشته می باشد ،شرطی نوع 3).

If I had studied more carefully, I would be more successful now.

اگر با دقت بیشتری درس خونده بودم ،الان موفق تر بودم. ( این جمله تلفیقی از شرطی نوع 3 و 2 می باشد)

If she had driven more carefully, she would not have had accident.

اگر با دقت بیشتری رانندگی کرده بود ، تصادف نکرده بود. .( هر 2 آرزو مربوط به گذشته می باشد ،شرطی نوع 3). 

If she had driven more carefully, she would not be paralyzed waist down now.

اگر با دقت بیشتری رانندگی کرده بود، الان فلج نبود. ( این جمله تلفیقی از شرطی نوع 3 و 2 می باشد)

دقت کنید در جملات شرطی تلفیقی نیازی نیست که
